- Splash page can include advertising for additional services such as bar, food outlets or pay tv.

- Automatically shape (slow down) the traffic for each guest so a single user cannot flood the connection.

- Provide a free limited internet service with the option for paid premium service.

- Block p2p programs from using your monthly download limit.

- Protect the guest and yourself.

Security

Most motels will share their internet connection with the guests wireless rather than having a separate connection for the office and the guest wireless. We block the guests from accessing your office computers as they are on separate networks and have firewall rules to prevent access.

You can leave the wireless open if you wish however we find that leechers will find the open network and abuse it. Especially if you are located near a residential area and all the kids in the neighbourhood find out. It is recommended to have the wireless configured with a security key that you give to the guests on checkin. Changing the key every now and then is also a good idea.

Flexibility

The system is very easy to setup and can be extended at a later date. You don't have to install wireless throughout the entire complex straight away. Just start with the reception area or lounge first so you can start offering wireless to clients and win business right away. Range can be extended as required and as your budget permits.
